Article · Part 2, one of three options. Written for a magazine or website; needs a distinctive voice, an engaging hook, and vivid, concrete detail. 280-320 words, semi-formal and lively.
Letter · Part 2, one of three options. At C2 this is almost always formal - to an editor, an organisation, or an official - with a clear purpose stated immediately and a firm, courteous tone throughout. 280-320 words.
Report · Part 2, one of three options. Written for someone in authority; impersonal, structured under headings, findings followed by specific, actionable recommendations. 280-320 words, formal and factual.
Review · Part 2, one of three options. Written for a magazine, website or publication; describes, evaluates with genuine balance, and recommends to a specific reader. 280-320 words, semi-formal and engaging.
